Quercetin

Quercetin is a polyphenolic flavonoid compound that is extensively found in nature, with its history dating back to 1936 when it was first isolated by Hungarian physiologist Albert Szent-Györgyi. The name Quercetin is derived from the Latin word "quercus" (oak tree), and it is discovered in many plants, including onions, apples, tea leaves, buckwheat, and various medicinal plants such as sophora japonica (Japanese pagoda tree).
